Railway has released several recruitment notifications inviting applications for several positions like Medical practitioners and officers.
Southern Railway has decided to engage 33 full time contract Medical Practitioners for a period up to 30.06.2021 from the date of engagement to manage the COVID-19 wards at Railway Hospital/Perambur, Chennai, read an official notification.

Educational Qualification and desirable work Experience: M.B.B.S with experience in ICU working and operation of ventilator Machine, or, the candidate should be M.B.B.S and registered with the Indian Medical Council.
Experience: One year work experience in a reputed hospital.
Age Limit: For candidates from open market- Should not have completed 53 years of age as on 01.04.2021. However, this upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
For Retired Medical Officers from State / Central Government including retired Railway doctors –should not have completed 65 years of age as on 01.04.2021.
The last date for submission of application for the Railway Recruitment 2021 is on April 23, 2021.
(One) vacancy (Dental surgeon) of Medical officer by engaging full time Dental Surgeon purely on contract basis for a period of one year to serve in Central Hospital on South East Central Railway.
Educational qualification: Bachelors in Dental surgery with three years of minimum working experience or Post Graduate degree in Dental Surgery from any recognised Medical College/University with valid registration with Indian Dental Council.
Upper Age limit 59 years on the date of notification. The contract will cease to exist on the date incumbent attain 60 years of age.
